The campus™s many musically talented students had yet another opportunity to perform, following last weekend™s Open Mic Night. śIt™s been a music filled week!ť said Brendan Seeley (™27), who, together with Naomi Pride (™28) and Michael DeIulio (™28), played a selection of traditional folk music, finishing with St. Mason™s Apron. śHalf the fun of that one is the name,ť he joked. Following their set, Mary Wassell (™25) and Therese Baker (™25) led a group of seniors in singing and playing guitar and fiddle.
Musical abilities weren™t the only talents students got to showcase; those who preferred recipes to sheet music entered the annual Irish Soda Bread Competition. Although it was a tough call, the prize ultimately went to Elizabeth Lind (™25), making her a two-time soda bread champion, after her first victory in 2021. śThis is one of the reasons I love living in a small community like TAC,ť said Natalie Peterson (™27). śGatherings like this are so much more meaningful when everyone is a familiar face.ť
