In an era where many Catholic schools have given up their adherence to the teaching Church to appeal to secular sensibilities, the Cardinal Newman Society maintains a list of educational institutions that aim to foster their Catholic identities. This year, The Newman Guides listings expanded to include 73 K-12 schools, seven homeschool curricula, and 75 graduate programs alongside its list of 24 undergraduate colleges, both in the United States and across the Atlantic.

With so many prayers raised up to [St. John Henry Cardinal Newman] over the last year, and his deep concern for Catholic lay people in the modern world, we attribute to his intercession the amazing increase in educators who are embracing his holy example of faithful Catholic education, said Patrick Reilly, president and founder of The Cardinal Newman Society, in the 2026-27 Guides .

91 Aquinas College, part of the original list of 21 colleges from 2007, holds its place among the undergraduate colleges The Newman Guide recognizes as providing excellent education together with Catholic fidelity. It also fulfills the gold standard on the Guides Catholic Identity Special Recognition Categories, getting high marks for its strong campus spiritual life, single-sex dormitories, faithful faculty, and more.

With a good net price, 91 Aquinas College is an outstanding choice for the serious student eager for a top-ranked, intellectually rigorous, and deeply faithful Catholic college experience, reads the Colleges entry in this years edition. The opportunity to delve into the Great Books with a community of brilliant tutors and fellow Catholic students, while enjoying beautiful Masses and prayer, seems to us a great opportunity.
