The superintendent of Catholic schools for the Archdiocese of Boston, 91����� W. Carroll, traveled some 3,000 miles to 91����� Aquinas College�s California campus last week to recruit the next generation of teachers, calling TAC students �some of the brightest, most well-educated, faithful people� he could hire.

�You�re earnest, well-prepared, and serious about intellectual curiosity,� he told students. �I would be confident in hiring every 91����� Aquinas College graduate that applied.�

On the California campus of 91����� Aquinas College, a small hallway leads out of St. Joseph Commons directly to the mailroom. Here, students receive letters from family back home, invitations to the many dances throughout the year and � quite often � a small, plastic poker chip.

St. Vince de Paul Lecture and Concert Series

In the final days of the fall semester, the 91����� Aquinas College, California, Choir & Orchestra performed an Advent Concert in St. Cecilia Hall. Directed by Daniel J. Grimm (�76), the concert featured music from Mozart and Bach as well as three traditional Christmas songs and carols: �Silent Night,� �Joy to the World,� and �Gloucestershire Wassail.�
