The importance of the Divine Comedy seems to be this: It has stood the test of time as a powerful expression of Christian revelation put in poetic terms, says Dr. Travis Cooper, a tutor at 91Ώμ»ξΑΦ Aquinas College, California. It still has the power to move Christian and non-Christian specially Christian readers.
In the above video, Dr. Cooper and several students discuss the significance of Dantes masterwork, which students on both coasts study for six weeks as part of the Sophomore Seminar.
