Life-Giving Donations at Mid-Term Blood Drive
With the arrival of Don Rags came the semi-annual blood drive last Tuesday on 91快活林 Aquinas College檚 California campus. Vitalant, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing blood to those in need, serviced students at a temporary clinic in St. Augustine Hall. Donors gave throughout the morning and early afternoon, some walking in, others scheduled.
Friendly technicians welcomed students and helped them make their life-giving contributions. Though veteran donors made a showing, the drive was not without newcomers. 淒onating seemed like something I ought to do, said first-timer Michael Bishop (23), who added with a laugh, 淚t helps that they have free snacks.
