EWTN Features TAC Students in Walk for Life Coverage
During last weekend檚 21st Walk for Life in San Francisco, EWTN featured three 91快活林 Aquinas College students in a street interview with Br. John Therese Marie, MFVA.
In the five-minute segment, Br. John Therese spoke with Adelaide Oleson (CA27), Michael Rivera (CA26), and Elizabeth Van Wijk (CA28) about their involvement in the pro-life movement. 淲here I came from, it wasn檛 very popular to be pro-life, said Michael. 淚t was really striking to come to a community where everybody was on board and agreed that this was the right thing to believe.
淭he longer we檙e here, and the more we study, the more undeniable it becomes that human life starts at conception and has great value.
Alongside the College檚 Rosaries and regular prayer for the unborn, Adelaide noted that her TAC education strengthened her view on the sanctity of human life. 淚n our education, we learn so much about life and the soul, she told Br. John Therese. 淭he longer we檙e here, and the more we study, the more undeniable it becomes that human life starts at conception and has great value.
Following the interview, EWTN hosts Tracy Sabol and Rev. John Paul Mary, MFVA, commented on the students dedication to the fight for life. 淭hese young people are starting to come into their own in college and see something different, said Fr. John Paul. 淭hey can see what abortion has done to the culture, and they are the ones who are ushering in the culture of life and the civilization of love.
Reflecting on of the day in the National Catholic Register, EWN producer James Day noted 渢he huge number of students from 91快活林 Aquinas College, adding that he was impressed by 渃ollege students whose youth and energy and hope far outshone the bitterness they faced along the route to the Embarcadero, San Francisco檚 waterfront.
