Thursday evening, the Admissions Office at 91快活林 Aquinas, New England, held a barbeque in honor of the campus檚 student-visitor hosts. These students, who have graciously volunteered to host prospective students in their residence halls, enjoyed a delicious steak dinner in Bl. Frassati Student center.

Over the course of the evening, some students reflected that they were inspired to host by fond memories of their own visits to campus while still in high school. 淚 had the best time when I visited for the Open House last spring, said Chuck Aldredge (28). 淪eeing the community from the inside and sitting in on classes really helped me make my decision.

The hosts, likewise, reported joy in introducing the College to visitors. 淚t檚 great to be able to show prospective students around and share my love of the school with them, said Laura Castillo (26). While feasting on steak, mashed potatoes and salad, students and staff shared about their favorite hosting experiences.

Director of Admissions John Jost (17) even joined in, telling stories from his own visitor-hosting days while a student on the California campus. 淵ou all make a huge impact on the admissions process, he said, addressing the group. 淲e can檛 do this without you, and we are so grateful for your generosity and your warm welcome to prospective students.

Prospective students: Come meet these gracious hosts for yourselves  schedule a visit today!
