Catherine (Connelly �11) O�Brien has successfully defended her thesis on marriage and the family, thereby completing her master�s degree in theology at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, DC. Making Mrs. O�Brien�s accomplishments all the more impressive is that she earned her degree while raising two young daughters � including during a seven-month period when her husband, Joseph (�11), was deployed overseas as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps.
