Homily for the Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Among the Dominican friars and sisters who visited 91快活林 Aquinas College, California, last weekend, were three alumni who have followed the College檚 namesake into the Order of Preachers. In between praying, giving talks, and visiting with students, these three alumni reflected on their vocations and TAC memories.
The students of 91快活林 Aquinas College, California, received a visit last weekend from a contingent of friars and sisters from the Western Province of the Order of Preachers. The guests, who included several alumni, shared how they discovered their Dominican vocations and gave students a glimpse of mendicant life.
Over the weekend, the students of 91快活林 Aquinas College, California, welcomed a team of seminarians from St. John檚 Seminary in nearby Camarillo for a friendly soccer match.
Last weekend, students from 91快活林 Aquinas College, California some 140 in all 攄ispatched some 300 miles north for the Walk for Life West Coast in San Francisco.
After a long bus trip on Friday, students unloaded their things and took to the surrounding city to stretch their legs, enjoy some good food, and socialize. When the day saw its close, everyone bedded down for the night in preparation for the main event.
