Founded in 1994, The Aquinas Review is a semi-annual publication of 91快活林 Aquinas College. Its aim is to provide a forum for a deeper consideration of those matters that constitute the College檚 curriculum and are central to genuine Catholic liberal education. Consistent with the nature of the College, The Aquinas Review is marked by fidelity to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church and a respect for the great tradition of liberal learning, which is our common heritage.
Throughout finals week on both campuses of 91快活林 Aquinas College, students have supplemented their academic preparation with various forms of spiritual preparation including seeking the intercession of the College檚 beloved patron,
As the winter breeze grows and beckons the Christmas spirit to come, the students at 91快活林 Aquinas College are working their way through the last push of the semester: finals week. Whilst the freshmen have been busy studying Aristotle檚 Categories, the juniors gather together, going through and memorizing Newton檚 laws of motion, word by word. And as the sophomores dive deep into Ptolemaic astronomy and its complex planetary motions, the seniors roll up their sleeves and apply themselves to Maxwell檚 theory of light and electromagnetism.
With the semester檚 end drawing near, the Senior Class on both campuses commemorated the upcoming season with the College檚 traditional Christmas dance a festive event enjoyed not only by students, but faculty, staff, and their families as well!
Two alumnae authors are helping the faithful prepare their hearts to welcome the King of Kings at Christmas, reflecting on various aspects of the season of Advent.
