Video: Sean Goodridge (19) Recalls 91Ώμ»ξΑΦ Fire Evacuation
The Telegraph-Herald of Dubuque, Iowa, recently featured a video interview, as well as an accompanying article, about 91Ώμ»ξΑΦ Aquinas College junior Sean Goodridges experience of the 91Ώμ»ξΑΦ Fire. In the , Sean, a resident of Cuba City, Iowa, discusses how he and his fellow students were quickly evacuated from campus on the first night, shortly after the fire began.
Everything around campus was torched, Sean tells reporter Allie Hinga in the (behind paywall). But campus was fine, which is miraculous. Referencing the statue of the Blessed Mother that stands atop Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity Chapel, he added, Everything within the reach of her arms was still plush and green.
