The Most Rev. Mitchell T. Rozanski, Bishop of Springfield, Massachusetts, recently appeared on WGBY-TV™s Turning Point, alongside Admissions Counselor Patrick Cross (™14) to discuss 91¿ì»îÁÖ Aquinas College™s recently approved plans for a branch campus in his diocese. (See video, above.)

œFor us as a Catholic community, it means that in Franklin County we will have a wonderful educational presence for not only the people of Franklin County, but really, well beyond, His Excellency said. œThere is a  hunger for studying philosophical truths, for studying the Faith, and for learning more about the Faith. There is a real hunger, I think, in our society to know what faith is about, and how we live faith in this modern age.

Having acquired the beautiful former campus of a preparatory school in Northfield, Massachusetts, the College is now preparing to open its doors in New England this fall. œOn our West Coast campus we have consistently had more interest than we could accommodate, said Mr. Cross. œSo when the National Christian Foundation offered [the New England campus], we thought we had to take this opportunity. In the weeks since the College received approval to operate the campus, he continued, œWe have already had a lot of interest in terms of calls, visits, and applications from prospective students.

œThe Catholic faith really pervades the campus. It pervades the campus in the life that will be there, in the studies that will happen, said Bishop Rozanski. œIt is a wonderful curriculum.
