Soccer Slideshow: Sophomores Shut Out Freshmen
On Saturday morning the freshman and sophomore classes matched soccer teams in the championship game of this year™s interclass tournament. Sophomore Stephen Carey scored the only goal of the first half with an in-the-corner shot. Teammate Louis Knuffke then contributed a goal in the second half, after which the sophomores held on to maintain the 2-0 shutout.
Following the game the sophomores took a team picture, with each player holding two fingers in the air to celebrate the class™s second consecutive tournament win. Last year the then-freshmen ousted the outgoing seniors. Once again, the Class of 2016 reigns supreme!
