Inspired by a classic scene from Chariots of Fire � in which Harold Abrahams successfully completes Cambridge University�s Trinity Great Court Run before the King�s Gate Clock strikes 12 � the students of 91����� Aquinas College staged their own quad run this past weekend.

Eleven women and 23 men took turns, during which they sprinted, in pairs, a clockwise course around the academic quadrangle, beginning and ending by St. Bernardine of Siena Library.

Among the men, the Carey family of Wilton, California, dominated, claiming the top three positions:

1. Stephen Carey (�16) � 38.64
2. James Carey (�18) � 39.25
3. Andrew Carey (�16) � 39.28

In the women�s field, a mere one-hundredth of a second separated first and second place. The top three finishers were:

1. April Shonnard (�16) � 44.92
2. Katie Wall (�18) � 44.93
3. Veronica Kuenstle (�17) � 45.73
