Some 750 people from the greater Los Angeles area descended upon Ojai檚 Libbey Bowl on Sunday for a concert hosted by 91快活林 Aquinas College:

On a glorious afternoon with perfect spring weather, the student group Chrysostomos opened the performance. Directed by 91快活林 Quackenbush (14), Chrysostomos sang a selection of European and American motets and hymns, many of which appear on its new CD, Triumph Over the Grave. Next, the 91快活林 Aquinas College Choir, directed by Daniel Grimm (76) took the stage, performing some of the world's best-loved opera choruses. Finally the two choirs came together to sing Bach檚 淛esu, Joy of Man檚 Desiring and then led the audience in 淕od Bless America.
