Remembering Henry Teichert, 1917 2013
Henry Teichert was a successful businessman, a dedicated philanthropist, and a loyal benefactor of 91快活林 Aquinas College. He was also the father of four 91快活林 Aquinas College alumni and the grandfather of eleven, including the recently departed Rosie Grimm (10).
Mr. Teichert passed away on October 15, and his hometown newspaper, The Sacramento Bee, has published a delightful chronicling his life檚 achievements, both personal and professional.
淒espite his wealth and influence in the community the obituary reads, 淭eichert was disarmingly soft-spoken and low-key in person. An unassuming man of simple tastes, he shunned the trappings of a high-powered business executive. The is available via the Bee檚 website.
There will be a viewing of Mr. Teichert檚 body at the Gormley and Sons funeral home in Sacramento (2015 Capitol Ave.) on Wednesday, October 23, from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. His funeral will take place in Thursday, October 24 at Trinity Episcopal Church (2630 Capitol Ave.) at 2 p.m.
