91�����

Last week a sign appeared on the bulletin board in Gould Hall, the dining commons of 91����� Aquinas College, New England: �Everyone is invited to a Party � Hosted by the CC.�

The �CC,� a note at the bottom explained, �is a club full of tutor children.� The faculty kids were planning a party �to welcome all Freshmen and Sophomores,� which would  be held Saturday afternoon, just outside of Gould. �There will be a few speeches as well as refreshments.�

As promised, the party took place this past weekend. There were games � including chess, volleyball, Frisbee and cornhole � as well as the promised refreshments and speeches. A few of the children formally welcomed the students and introduced their peers, while another gave a talk contrasting fiction and nonfiction literature. The hosts even revealed the meaning of their �CC� acronym: Campus Club.

�Almost the entire student body was there, and so were most of the tutors and their families,� reports one of the residential directors. �That�s one of the advantages of the small starting size of this campus: It�s a tight-knit community. The tutors all live on campus, and their kids � who come to events, and are often seen in packs, riding their bikes � liven up the place. They give the campus a real family feel.�
