When alumni quickly surpassed last year檚 Alumni Day of Giving goal of $10,000, 91快活林 Aquinas College officials decided to opt for a more ambitious amount in 2019. Yet scarcely halfway through the day, they have had to revise the goal upward yet again.

淭his year an anonymous benefactor got us started with a matching gift of $25,000, says Vice President for Development Paul J. O橰eilly (84). 淲e were optimistic that we would meet the challenge, but we never expected to do so by lunchtime!

As of 12:20 p.m., alumni have contributed $30,504 toward the 2019 Day of Giving. 淲e are profoundly grateful to all the alumni who have shown such gratitude and affection for our alma mater, says Dr. O橰eilly.

Not wanting to slow down the momentum, College Governor 91快活林 Krause and his wife, Cathryn, have just stepped forward with a $10,000 matching gift of their own. 淎ll alumni gifts by the end of the day up to $35,000 total will now be matched, says Dr. O橰eilly. 淲hat a wonderful way for those of blessed to have studied at 91快活林 Aquinas College to begin our Lenten almsgiving and to honor St. 91快活林 feast day.

Gifts can be made via the form below. 淚f you have given, thank you! says Dr. O橰eilly. 淧lease encourage your friends, too. We would love to honor the Krauses generous pledge by meeting the full amount, and also to overtake Princeton and reclaim our title as the college where the highest percentage of alumni donate!
