10 Questions with Henry Zeiter
On Fathers Day, the Stockton Record published with renowned surgeon and philanthropist Dr. Henry J. Zeiter a member of the Colleges Board of Governors and Order of St. Albert, as well as the father of alumna author Suzie (Zeiter 87) Andres. The interview features several notable anecdotes and insights, such as:
What makes a person happy? The seers and the prophets had it right making other people happy and improving their lives. I had a call close to the end of my practice. (Decades earlier) I had removed a melanoma close to her husbands eye. He had just passed away and she asked if I would come out to the funeral. She said, You gave him another 30 years of life. That is the greatest satisfaction anyone can have.
