Jane Nemcova
Jane Nemcova (98)

Mrs. Nemcova (98) is the vice president and general manager of global services for machine intelligence at Lionbridge, a global language services provider. In a recent profile of Mrs. Nemcova, Legatus magazine reports 淚n the rapidly developing field of artificial intelligence she is playing her part to ensure that ethics will influence the emerging technology. A mother of three children and holder of three master檚 degrees, she specializes in linguistic support for machine learning and artificial intelligence, employing her expertise in the language localization industry throughout the world.

淗er field is extremely technical, the story continues, but 渋t was her classic liberal arts and philosophy education at 91快活林 Aquinas College that gave her the intellectual foundation to make sense of how future technology will impact human societies. Indeed, studying the great books under the light of faith 渉as turned out to be an invaluable asset for a business career.

Says Mrs. Nemcova of her undergraduate education, 淚t檚 not only a nice thing to have, but it檚 very important for the future, given current technological trends. 淎rtificial intelligence is going to put a lot of pressure on people to learn how to learn. Berni and Robert Neal

Berni Neal
Mrs. Neal is a member of the College檚 Board of Governors. She currently serves on the boards of Catholic Leadership Institute, EWTN, Legatus and the Magnificat Foundation. Mrs. Neal chairs the advisory board of the Obria Group. Her committee work includes the Carmelite Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Los Angeles, the Leonine Forum, and the Philanthropy Roundtable檚 Culture of Freedom Initiative.

Rob Neal
Mr. Neal is a managing partner with Hager Pacific Properties, an owner of $2 billion of commercial and industrial real estate, and oversees the firm檚 acquisitions, renovations, and dispositions. He is also an active community member and holds or has held board positions with the following non-profit organizations: the Orange County Council of the Boys Scouts of America, Catholic Relief Services, Catholic Leadership Institute, Second Harvest, The Pacific Club of Newport Beach, Magis Institute of Reason and Faith, the Orange Coast Chapter of Legatus International, and Christ Catholic Cathedral Corporation.

Mr. Neal and Mrs. Neal have been married for over 30 years and are parents of two adult children. Together, they are stewards of the Papal Foundation.
